Yo, Cynthia... :)

Warmth comes wildly...
galloping galloping. A
trotting tick-tock, the
hoofbeat heartbeat of'
blackberry winter.

The equinox flocks in,
on the winds,
on the wings
of many freed starlings.
Birdsong, sing-a-long,
caged no longer.

Go...go, barefoot
drum beats arouse the
slumbering soil. Spring
to the edge of winter,
and start
anew.

Did I make spring prettier for you? LOL.

Blackberry winter = a little shout out to my Southern peeps.. ;)

And Cynthia...I am glad I could help. Notice that I avoided worms completely?
(It's funny how you say it smells wormy after it rains...lol. I have been known to walk into the house and announce to everyone that it smells like worms outside. They all think I am nuts. But, it DOES smell like worms...)

I did notice the lack of worms!

And it DOES smell like worms! It does!!! I tell that to my husband all the time, he think I'm crazy too. So you'll have some company when they commit me too. :)
