For Tracey...

...because she didn't get it. *grin*

Alanis actually made this song pretty...and managed to highlight the idiotic lyrics while she was at it...LOL.

Enjoy. Or  not. ;)

EWWW!!! I got it, I got it, ok? I cannot believe that women actually agree to participate in such a degrading song. I mean, I KNOW that they do, and they get paid good money. Yadda yadda. It still SUCKS. It sucks because little girls and teens are watching it, seeing the bling and actually believing that this IS an acceptable way to behave! And look at the stuff they can get!! YAY! I wanna sing about my humps and get free stuff from men...

UGH. I am ranting in your comments. My apologies. But you ASKED for it, girly.

I agree. That video is part of what is wrong with society today. Most kids these days wouldn't know a melody (or a poetic lyric) if it bit them on the ass and then started doing the Snoopy dance.

Wait. Who is Snoopy? ;) American Dad, Family Guy and Robot Chicken, right? I saw a little girl wearing booty shorts and high heels at Walmart last week. You can buy thongs for your 6 year old. I know a 10 year old boy who is stretching his earlobes and quoting very very sexually demeaning rap songs to his girlfriend (girlfriend??) on his Facebook wall.

Rant away. Otherwise, before we know it, the word will be full of people who type a u instead of you, LOL when they aren't laughing (because they don't know how to laugh, given that they take themselves too seriously...even if they haven't had a single deep thought all day besides what they will wear to get noticed) and everyone will either be a clone of Eminem (Kanye, L'il Wayne, 50 Cent) or Fergie (Beyonce, Miley, Britney)...

Just when I think all hope is lost, someone like Alanis makes fun of someone like Fergie, and I think: "Thank goodness there are still a few human beings out there..."
